I want an ogre team, but a team of twelve ogres and three goblins comes in at 102 pounds, plus postage.
I'm just gutted that I'm going to need 2 more throwers.

Incidentally, about Ogres and FF, surely Ogre tams would attrack massive crowds, especially if the pit fighting area was down for repairs? :)

Yeah its not cheap buy a long shot.

A team of 4 Throwers which come with the 4 Goblins you need ... so that 8 players. If you wanted a full team that 8 Blockers

So that 8 @ 8 BPS + 4 @ 10 BPS for 106 BPS ... Yeah I know ... its steep ... but to be honest there are a lot of who will do it through gifts (ask for Ogres for Christmas and Birthdays) ... its how I built my 3-D MasterMaze Dungeonbowl Board which was 400 USD if I had bought it myself.

I have one Ogre, and I did a good job on his painting, so I really would like a full team.
I am considering laying down about 60 quid to get a tournament lineup...I could then maybe build it up to a full line up.

So here it is:
First remove the rule that say a team has to buy at least one fan factor (for all teams, not just the ogre team). This is the only rule change required. The team does not have any special rules.
Sorry David ... I ... welll .... I stopped reading right there.
Why is it so important that no team is allowed to start with 0 FF? Nobody in their right mind would consider doing that anyways.

well, if no one in their right mind would take it, no one will play it, which means GW don't sell as many figures, which means they won't make as much money. So rules which equal less money will never become official (and that's just the cynical reason, forgetting game balance).

Actually for me it goes beyond this. I won't support a roster that doesn't allow you the chance to start with an FF of 9. Every roster has that option currently and should have the option.

So when I look at the 4 Ogre teams that are available. I don't want #3 or #4 because those teams can field more Goblins than Ogres on a drive. I don't like #1 because it has a special rule and because the highest FF I can start with is 8. There are other reasons but these up front narrow down the choice to me to a single team.

I just Ordered enough Ogres and Goblins for a starting line up.

I just got paid and I decided to treat myself seeing as I wanted a Zara and a Ramtut anyway. About 45 quid for the basic line up minus ne Ogre I already have. At least I have some cool fluff for them. If they're legalled in time I may even consider playing them at the Blood Bowl next year.

Did I mention that I don't actually like the Thrower pose?
I'll be working out a way to differentiate the Blockers and the Blitzers using whatever bits I get.

BB next year will either be Goblins (or rather trolls, secret weapons, rr's and a couple of goblins) or Ogres.

Did you consider that many people may not have had enough experience in seeing all the four teams being played? That's my situation and surely you don't want uninformed oppinions messing up your poll results.

And quite a few people will never have played a game against any of the rosters...

My bb league always does playtesting so we can decide what we want and what not. Normaly we play every weekend 1 to 2 league games and if you are still not bb satisfied we take out our plastic miniatures and unpainted big guys define the Cockerel positions and then play games.

That way we played out some games with all the new teams, with a new Dwarfteam created by me ;), used Galaks on pitch spellcaster rules and some of the MBBL2 teams.

Dont realy understand why nobodey else does this.
