Hey JohnnyP since Acerak is one of 7 BBRC members could he get a title other than Rookie?

I don't think many people should have special titles ... heck I'm amazed that I do ... but it would be nice for new posters to be able to see Acerak's title as something related to his more official capicity. So that when Chet posts ... newer members will realize he's not just some meaningless yahoo.

Just a thought.

Like I said ... I think a very, very, limited number of people should have special titles ... neominal, Acerak, Milo are all BBRC members who have visited the board ... personally I'd be willing to give mine up if its a point of jealously, and makes everyone feel they need one also.

I just thought it would be nice for true rookies to have a better idea of comments made by people who sit on the panel that makes the rules for BB.

I have no problems "earning my stripes," as it were. That said, I'd take a different title if it were offered. As noted, it might help coaches identify me. Whether that's a good thing or not...

All this about titles sounds like MA Black Belts, everybody wants one, maybe thinking that it will give them the supreme conscience or something like that. They are wrong. The only men on the earth that will be the best blood bowl player having a title it's me... I really need one... mmm my treassure... gollum gollum...

Hi all,
we've used this team for 300+ games!

I had a good hard look at their warhammer stats and background (as well as the version in 2nd edition) before creating the team. Interestingly, Slann have a Toughness of 4 (like Orcs). However, all the miniatures (mine anyway), are lightly dressed, so I've settled for AV8.

Anyway, I've got a painted team too. Perhaps I can arrange for a picture.

As for the stats:
The slann race is based on Inca/Maya society. Their elites are their totem warriors - eagle warriors and jaguar warriors. The slann also have alligator warriors, which the Inca/Mayas didn't.
These warrior classes are like cultural titles, so I found it OK to use them for blood bowl (like dwarven longbeards).

The Team:
0-12 50K linemen 6338 - - G
0-2 110K Lurking Alligators 4438 Leap, Thick Skull - G,ST
0-3 90K Pouncing Jaguars 6338 Leap, Block - G,AG
0-3 70K Swooping Eagles 7248 Leap, Sure Hands - G,AG
50K Rerolls, No Big Guy, All Slann have +1 to intercept roll. (So its like Galaks VVL skill, it just looked so uncomely on the roster).

I saw your team Martin ... we just took two different approaches.

You converted the team from WFB stats and I converted the team from 2nd edition BB stats. In the end, we both came up with teams that are different from the norm.

I'm sure your roster is much liked in your league, and the Slann roster in the MBBL2 is very well received as well. Having played the team several matches with our version I really like the simple 3 position roster with the DT blitzer. The roster you have resembles an Orc team an awful lot which is fine based on the WFB background you gave ... I just prefer the 2nd edition set-up.
