And my suggestion does not impose yu to use it, but why do i bother to explain?

1) Your suggestion is still no good, regardless of the skaven thrower.
2) the skaven thrower isn't broken just because he has decent skills.
3) you usually present your ideas as things that abslutely have to be part of the game, and this "permanent star player" idea is one you've talked about in just those terms before.

first of all TBB is not he Holy Grail of Blood Bowl. there are enough people who think that LRB sucks, all of it, and play 3dr. Period.

I said I didn't like this idea the first time you posted it, and I still don't like it. Repeatdly posting the same idea does not make it any better.

To me it looks like you don't even consider the Idea. here is a red flag going up in your mind as soon as you hear the word "Starplayer". The it gose like: "no way all stars ruin the game i must oppose totally"

Let me ask concretely:

The High Elf Team. up to 2 Dragon Warriors with ST4 & Dauntless, that cannot use Team rerolls, and effectively cannot be hired for a starting team. And that effectively can only get one more skill.

Is this broken or interesting? would this screw the roster or add some variety? and at least try to be honest for 5 seconds.

Do you know what I oppose totaly? Adding new teams. Adding a fourth Elf team. Adding another Undead Team adding just more of the same instead of tweaking details. I prefer quality features over quantity features.

Personally I think New teams are fine, IF they add something new to the game. The Undead I'm really not sure about, the new elves I'll wait and see. If nothing else we're getting nice new figs because of them. That makes most of us pretty happy.

The Star player rules are fine as they are. Permanent star players are a bad, broken and dull idea. If you had listened just once to what EVERYONE else said every time you bring this subject back you'd get that.

Intersting. I would not even consider putting them in the line. I would use them as blitzers only.

Is it interesting? no. Not very.

They are anything but starting players. They come late in the game and already have 16 spp. they cannot improve until they reach 31, and all of their opponets will have block skill by now as well. Allowing High Elfes 2 ST4 Players under handicap conditions is not automatically broken. In my oppinion, ST4 very much overleaps with Dauntless. Its like you get 1,5 skills and payed for 2. And are there not better skills on the first 2 rolls than ST+ and Dauntless? don't u miss tackle? or Mighty Blow on a double?

And 15 races is already 5 to many.

I am aware you lack the brains to understand but i was actually refering to the framework that would set the parameters to include stars permanently.

You can only see black (4 Griffs) and white (none er "freebooted") and the rest is beyond your comparison.

And i would only freeboot a Griff if i already had 8 team rerolls and a full roster to be honest i never played a team this long so this is completely utopic.

I'm all for more races being introduced - more variety, more miniatures .

Toby, you're lists will just add pages and pages to the rules. Do you really want a newbie to come to the game, see that he has to wade through a page long list of players just to pick a team to play, and then give up because it's all too complicated?
Also, if you have a list of 'advanced' players like you gave, you create a precedent for everyone to want a certain package of skills to be available, and everyone will be clamouring at the BBRC Rules Review to add this, or take the other away as it is broken.
