So 1/6 * 2 (the average of D3) = 1/3 SPP per coach per game.

I am not that good in statistics but you cleared it out, yes you are correct.

Some teams invest in those assistent coaches. Those teams are mostly the teams with cheap linemen and "hard to get spp" players.

I play lizardmen and invest in AC's.
