Just download the "Old Norse" roster, converted from 2nd edition. Should be on www.midgardbb.com somewhere. Though bunch.

Norse team from b-b.net

Original Norse team as published for 3rd edition BB in Citadel Journal #10

0-12 Thrall 50,000 6 3 3 7 Block General
0-2 Thrower 70,000 6 3 3 7 Block, Pass General, Passing
0-2 Huscarl 70,000 6 3 3 7 Block, Dauntless General, Strength
0-4 Berserker 90,000 6 3 3 7 Block, Frenzy, Jump Up General, Strength

Where we are today:
0-12 Lineman 50,000 6 3 3 7 Block General
0-2 Thrower 70,000 6 3 3 7 Block, Pass General, Passing
0-2 Catcher 70,000 6 3 3 7 Block, Catch General, Agility
0-4 Blitzer 90,000 6 3 3 7 Block, Frenzy, Jump Up General, Strength

and just for fun to show .. how the original MBBL and the current MBBL2 combined them for its league play over the last 2 years:
0-12 Bondsman 50,000 6 3 3 7 Block General
0-2 Thrower 70,000 6 3 3 7 Block, Pass General, Passing
0-2 Huscarl 90,000 6 3 3 7 Block, Catch, Dauntless General, Agility
0-4 Berserker 90,000 6 3 3 7 Block, Frenzy, Jump Up General, Strength

This is just FYI ... I think the current Norse LRB roster is fine just the way it is (I just loved the original Huscarl too much to not use him in my league). The Bondsman comes from the name of the Norse basic warrior in the Man O' War game which had Bondsman, Huscarl, Berserker as the 3 types of warrior.

Hum... I don't want to see Norse under chaos influence... Why we would have to strictly follow the Warhammer evolution ? You still should remove beastmen, and make a marauder team, with chaos warrior... But I like the actual norse roster.

Galak, when did the catcher get dauntless and lose catch? or is this just a typo?

Everybody here seems to ignore the FACT that the world is round and also flat, and rests on the back of four giant elephants, who in turn stand on the back of Great A´Tuin, a ten thousand miles long turtle (gender unknown).

It´s obvious really. Everyone knows it.

And for those of you that are interested, the "sport" you like to call Blood Bowl is in fact universally known as Hublands Football, and was originated in Llamedos, an small country near the Ramtops mountains, hubward from the Octarine Grass Country.

And yes, the Fjords (reason why you keep calling them Norse is a mistery to me) are kinda good when comes to drink beer and play Hublands Football. They are also known for wearing furs and horned helmets, using axes for several purposes and having a rich, lenghty and boring tradition of sagas.

What I meant is that you can happily ignore GW storylines. We do. I adapted the whole game fluff to the Discworld, which is perfect for BB, I think, and everybody here seems to love it.

The whole thing started with a pre-season tournament I called The Patrician Cup (now the Patrician Invitational) as a joke. Next thing you know is Alex retiring his Dark Elf team and starting an new team called The Ankh-Morpork Motherf*ckers. The Professional League of Hublands Football had born (Liga Profesional de Futbol Ejeño).

The rest is history.

By the way, I think Fjord/Norse/Viking team is ok now. Maybe a Werewolf star player wouldn´t hurt though...

Unfortunately the GW storylines (in the WHFB world) dictate how teams in BB are developed.

So what about the rosters in one of the journels (can't remeber which one) which seperated Warriors and Beastmen. The warriors got acces to maruaders with a random starting skill, and the Beastmen got access to Ungors and Minators.

worth bringing back as possible experimental rules?
