I have been reading through some house rules, and one post on removing negative traits got me thinking. Some argue for it, some against, saying that removing negative traits would lead to some players becoming too overpowered.
So I have an alternative that I propose.
What about if on a double the player with a negative trait could take a "Resist the Urge" skill. I can see this working two ways:
1) On a 2+ they can ignore the effect of a negative racial trait (not Secret Weapon!).
2) They get to re-roll thier negative trait. Bit like Pro but automatic but more specific.
So it still means that Star Players with out racial negatives stand out, but there is hope for teams with negative traits that they can circumvent some of those issues.

If you make it a normal roll, every BG will get it
If you make it a double, block is still a priority, and even then, I might prefer pro.
So it hard to balance it
