Half elf teams

Post by KLK »

I think that a pact elf teams coul be too hard to beat. also, to me, the new pro lef team look like too... I mean not to much... elf. But I think that they could be a great hal elf team. look the team list:

half-elf team.

0-12 linemen 7/3/3/7 50k gen
0-2 throwers 7/3/3/7 pass, S, hands 70k gen,pass
0-2 catchers 8/2/4/7 catch 70k gen, ag
0-4 blitzers 7/3/3/8 block 90k gen, str
0-1 half-ogre 5/4/2/9 Dauntless, 100K gen, str
Big Guy
RR: 50 k.

what do you think?

It's identical to the Skaven roster, except that the catchers have 1 less MV than gutter runners, and catch instead of dodge... :D

And no physical skills, and a new, decent big guy. Why not give the blitzers gen, agility and str skills? That would make the team an interesting mix of powered-down skaven and bashy-agility humans.

For a totally different take...
Half-Elf
Half Elfs are the offspring of a Human male and Female Elf, nine times out of ten they were not conceived in a loving relationship, but one born of pillage and rape.

Outcast from Elven society the children often grow up resenting the Elven way, jealous of the succes of the Elven parentage they often take up arms against the Elf kin. This resentment often manifests itself on the Blood Bowl pitch where the Half Elves make it a point to neutralise the throwing game loved by the Elves.

While not as agile as a pure Elf, they are generally still more agile than a normal Human and use this to great effect on the Blood Bowl pitch.

0-12 Linemen 6/3/3/8 -- Catch -- 60k -- Gen, Agi
0-4 Safety 7/3/3/7 -- Pass Block, Catch -- 70k -- Gen, Agi
0-2 Runners 7/3/3/7 -- Sprint, Dodge, Catch -- 80k -- Gen, Agi
0-2 Blitzer 7/3/3/8 Block, Catch -- 100k -- Gen, Agi

Ouch. A team full of catch is pretty nice. I like it!

My gut reaction is please no more elves.
But you have a very interesting roster that actually makes me want to test it.

a full catch team...I don't know.

what about this one:

half-elf team:

0-12 line 6/3/3/7 none gen, ag. 50K
0-2 throwers 6/3/3/7 pass, s.hands gen,pass 70K
0-4 catchers 7/3/3/7 catch, sprint gen, ag 70K
0-2 blitzers 7/3/3/8 block, catch gen, str, ag 100K
0-1 half-ogre 5/4/2/9 dauntless gen, str 100k

yes, I insist with the half-ogre!

KLK ... I think you got thread-jacked.

Hate to say it but the all catch roster is interesting. Definitely something to think about for the MBBL2 ... have to roll it around in my head some more.

KLK ... if you want to play with a Half-Ogre ... we have one in the MBBL2 ... :D

I think that the only way to solve this is... play test.

this half-ogre is good, but is too similar to the normal ogre.
