I'm finding the team to be pretty good with this combo.

If Take Root were an on-pitch effect, are they good enough (IYO) with the free Chef and no Ogre (Treemen instead, obviously)?

The best thing you can do to help Hobbitses is cream, white wine and a little basil over a low flame.

Halfling au Reisling? I disagree. They're tough little buggers and require slow cooking. Pit-roasted halfling? Now we're talking!

I was assuming a fair amount of tenderizing in advance!

On-Pitch Take Root and the free Chef and you still have a team that can compete IMO ... a challenge ... yes ... put definitely still compete.

After seeing your results, I have to agree (although I'm not an especially good coach so I fear I won't have such success). But psychologically speaking, I would like to have something to differentiate my players, where the positions do it quite well, so it's not "just 14 flings" plus 2 BGs. Nevertheless, I remeber you writing to not attach to halflings since they are so fragile...
