There are 2 issues.

1) How many teams can BB support?

I for one don't have any problems with lots of BB teams - so long as they are reasonably well balanced (and, IMO, generally weaker than the originals).

2) How many teams can Fanatic/GW support?

Obviously Fanatic do not have the resources to produce dozens of new teams (both in terms of minis and then support/play test). As such I'd rather see Fanatic produce new minatures for existing teams than new teams that will have marginal appeal.

I'd prefer making a bretonnian themed human team, rather than an outright bretonnian team roster. It'd let you use the models you wanted and have the advantage of using a stable, known-balanced roster.
