Diffrent "Mighty Blow"

I cannot agree with that last post. Firstly it is BB. BLOOD Bowl. M.Blow is a traditional skill that has been around since the year dot. If you don't think it is good then I can only presume that you don't want it at all. Secondly there is a movement I am detecting to reduce the Blood in BloodBowl. It is meant to be a violent game.

I think that the mighty blow skill should remain as it is.

It is a skill that has been tampered with little because it fits in perfectly well with defensive issues and the traditions of blood bowl.

It is a well balanced skill. The addition of plus 1 to either injury or armour roll and not both, has meant that it's impact is lessened.

This means that when a player gains this as a skill it acts like a bonus in the pursuit of disenabling the enemy line. Nothing more than that.

After all, someone with the ability to hit hard can not continually do 'it' so to speak. It is a case of the dice representing the hit and miss chance of a good connection.

Both the suggested changes I listed (AV reroll or KO'd is turned into badly hurt) will keep the Blood in Blood Bowl.

Yes, Mighty Blow has been around since the beginning, and it has caused troubles in the rules for the same time period due to the injury modifier. I do want there to be a skill called Mighty Blow; I just don't like injury modifiers.

I am btw not a member of any movement to reduce the violence in Blood Bowl. In fact, I wouldn't mind it if each team was allowed two big guys if the injury modifier of Mighty Blow is removed.

I never said you were. M.Blow adds only +1 to injury or armour don't forget. I think thats toned down enough.
