Freebooter position players

Hey all.

Just been playing on FUMBBL and had my undead get n SI on a wight. With my other wights nigglers (and being against ghouls on principle), this has left me with the prospect of playing with 2 (or even 1) ball-handler in their next game.

So what i was thinking is, should you be able to freeboot position players to replace those with an SI? It takes it over the position limits for the team as a whole, but not for those who can actually play.

Since the team is paying for the player, i can't see how this would hurt, escpecially since the only other option available is to hire a star. (in my case luthor, which is of course going to make the team stronger than freebooting a wight).

Obviously i'm not just talking about undead, but just using them as an example. Any thoughts?

The reasoning for not doing this is ... the goal here is to encourage you to retire one of the players with a Niggle and replace him. That's why you cannot go over your position limits when you freeboot.
