Werewolf & flesh golem models

Post by Garscow »

Aside from the old GW BB werewolf and flesh golem, what other figures do people use for the Necromantic team's 'wolves and golems?

Also the same question for the vampire team's thrall. I'm considering sticking some Cadians, Empire and possibly zombie bitz together. And since I really can't decide what team to try to put together second (I'm currently paint some WE's), I could ask the same question of the undead and Nurgle team's.

If there's anything in their current range available all the better, otherwise getting stuff shipped from overseas can get expensive.

Thanks for the help. :-)

You can see HEroclix/horrorclix figures for them

Hulk ones are perfects Golem, equal as Salomon grundy that , is a Franktein. Other options are: The Blob, Bane (with a little head change), Mr hyde, an asgard troll... ther are many appropiate, if you can find a store with them , they are cheap.
you can get very golem with the horrorclix ones, you just have to find them :P where I live, horrorclix, it's harder to find xD

And for Werethings the same, I'm using a modified sabretooth and a female starjammer as werewolves, but you can get wendigos, wolverines and other Clawsharped figures.

but as you were said, there are a lot of posts about it

Argh, why must you taunt me?!

I found out that this lovely lady is OOP. To find that out I had to google the name you used, which lead to your old site where you mention how you got a hold of it. :P

If anyone knows where I can find one of these figures, let me know. :)

I'm not denying the NecroBabe is a great figure, but if you decide the time and/or cost of eBay isn't worth it, go to Reaper's Figure Finder page: http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder and put in 'necromancer female' as your search terms. That will pull up 11 results; not all are great, of course, but among them will be some decent substitutes that wouldn't require any hunting:

I did a fairy tale theme and used gingerbred golems. These I made from Greesn Stuff

The werewolves are granny from "Red Riding Hood" and the wolf from Three Little Pigs. To make these I used space ork legs for one and chaos marauder for the other. The bodies are made from chaos hounds.
