Reviewing Gamezone's Zombie Wolves

Post by Digger Goreman »

The concept and simple, yet effective, paint schemes show these models as being high quality, awesome minis.... The poses are dynamic; the detail nauseatingly delightful (as undead wolves should be) and the clear bases are a bonus....

Unfortunately, this is where the cheerleading ends... and intro into greenstuffing begins....

I bought all three (6 figs) from England, off of E-slay, for a "fetchingly" good price and free postage! Thank goodness they only came two to a package, as it was difficult (at times) to mate the halves even to the other halves made for them...! Even when matching them along seam lines, there exist bad to awful gaps and gapes that required my first adventure into greenstuffing.... Hopefully, as I look at them drying, I've done well enough....

I'm sure there will be an eventual, happy ending to all the putty and paint....

However, I must give a caveat emptor and thumbs down to my fellow TBBers.... Should Gamezone fix the molds and re-issue them, though, I'd highly recommend their purchase....

Zombie Wolves II

That's a fairly standard complaint about Gamezone figures on miniatures communities, for all their product lines: beautiful sculpts with excellent detail -- but absolutely horrible fittings. :-?
