Undead @ 1m

I've not played undead for a while and my first games are going to be at tournament in a few weeks time. So I'm hoping to pick up some advice from more experienced undead coaches.
The tournament is a progressive one - normal league rules except that you can choose who gets the MVP and is over 7 games. Its LRB5 too - so mummies & skeletons are still cheap
I was thinking 2 Mummies, 2 Wights, 3 Ghouls, 3 Zombies, 2 Skeletons and 3 Rerolls. That gives me a spare to start.
The other option I was thinking of was 2 Mummies, 2 Wights, 2 Ghouls, 6 Zombies and 3 Rerolls.
Any other options worth considering? Any pros/cons for those two?
In terms of purchasing I was just thinking of buying any remaining ghouls and allowing the squad to grow with zombies up to 14-15 players to give me some fouling options or better depth against very bashy teams. With 6 games of winnings I should have 200~250k to spend. So a 4th reroll might be an option.
For development I think there are lots of good ways to build the team. Is there any advice with skill ups? I was thinking that the MVPs are probably better allocated to Mummies & Wights than Ghouls. Ghouls will get most TDs so can skill up themselves fairly quickly. Is it worth allocating MVPs to zombies/skeles who would skill up?
