Eurobowling
As the other thread is for organisation, thought I would start a new one.
Easy question - who has won previously?
Hard question - who is going to win this year?
I tried to do a poll, but you're not allowed 12 options. The choices are:
Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands, Germany, England, Scotland, Austria, Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland and the Freebooters
Reasons would be good, but barefaced nationalism is allowed too!

I don't know all of the names from the teams (will be a pleasure to get to know you all), but as far as I can tell teams England, Germany and Italy have quite decent line-ups. France will probably be very strong as well, but I just don't seem to recall all of those people.
Of course none of them will have the might to stand up to the Belgian team that, for the first time ever if I am not mistaken, is made up entirely of Belgians!!! Didn't Julius Caesar say that of all the Gauls, the Belgians were the bravest?
As long as we don't have to play against those northern neighbours of us again ...

Italy or Spain. Won't be England, the teams just not good enough. Hell, Ironjaw got beat at Spiky by my club's whipping boy.

My choise goes to Denmark.
They play very well and hard...
For the second and third place: Germany, England or Italy.
Maybe one of the other team can reach one of the top places.
Well... if not Italy I hope'll win a team that has never organizated any Eurobowl
The winners of previuosly editions are:
Year - Place - Winner
2003 - Amsterdam (Netherland) - France II
2004 - Bad Homburd (Germany) - England
2005 - ??? (England) - Italy
2006 - Riolo Terme (Italy) - Spain
2008 - Mas Badò (Spain) - ???

Lots of strong nations this year, as ever.
The Danes are a little bit of an unknown factor as they don't come to many tourneys other than EB / NWC. Don't know anything about Switzerland either...
I dearly hope we can bring Eurobowl back to England, not just for ourselves but for everyone who has wished us well and especially those who have represented England in the past and won't be this time round.
Grum, Indi, Max, VB, Zynox, Del - we're gonna win it for you guys!!!!
