This list will enlarge, but a good place to start your search for accommodation for the 'Waterbowl Weekender' is here:

'The Crown & Anchor', 41 Hilton Street, Manchester, M1 2EE. Tel - 0161 228 1142

Prices: £25 single
£40 twin
£50 triple

The price includes breakfast.
It is within 5 minutes walking distance from the tournament venue. And with a pub downstairs, it is even closer to drink...

It is also within very easy walking distance of manchester piccadilly train station.

Cheers

Good plan...

Have rang up and booked one of the singles.

For those interested, parking in the area is £3.30 for 3 hours, or £3.50 at the NCP. If those local know of somewhere safe close by to leave cars for the whole weekend that would be great!

Cheers

Richard

would be great if we had could find a good car park

If you are coming by train or other non-car transport then I would stay in a city centre hotel.

However parking in the city centre can be very expensive...

Staying a bit out of town and getting the bus / train in may be easier

For example Heald Greed Station (near the airport) has a travel inn next door with free parking whilst you stay, 3 trians an hour £2.50 return into central manchester (20 min journey time)

Just checked on prices - £53.95 per room per night and are currently available

There may be better/cheaper options out of town but I pass this one whenever I go to work on the train!!
