As CoachRattenfetza (a guy from GW) said, the DB06 will be held at their so called 'flagship'-location 'The Drakenburg' in Duesseldorf, and not the youth hostel over in Cologne, where it has been held the last two years. That given, I assume accommodation (and food) will not be included this time.

I think personally, that this is a good decision, as I am expecting the price for a ticket to go down by at least 45 euros, which is the minimum amount of money you would normally spend in the youth hostel for accommodation and food for one single person - which has to be reflected in the pricing ^^

So I guess I'll give it another try this year, even if I said I won't some month ago. But the new loaction and the hopefully lower price for a ticket almost changed my mind.

Let me express one more opinion: If you guys at GW plan to make such crap shirts again like you did this year, please just don't! Save the money and time you'd spend making them, and rather lower the ticket price!

Aye to that! :-)

But in the contrary the youth hostel was my favourite location. Except the food maybe. Room, bed, and bar in one place was nice.

Agreed!

Except for the food, which wasn't really good... the hostel was big, modern, clean and nice... the bar inside was friendly e full of BBers and we found a nice disco in 2004 in the easily reacheable Koln city center :)

Now restart of the discussion

I hope there will be more than 80 or 100 places for Coaches.
This year in cologne were 98 coaches. It was nice to see and speak to different coaches. This was my first big tournament and not my last.
I will be in D´Dorf too.
But i hope the stuff of GW will be able to place the rules for the dungeonbowl erlear this time. Without the help of one Coach ( thanks a lot ) i had no actually Cockerel.
So long and i prefer to stay at the youth hostel in D´dorf. It´s cheaper than a hotel.
Partytime on Friday evening there??

youth hostel in d´dorf is great (as i remember) just on the other side of the rhine, one stop with the tram or 10 minutes away from the altstadt.

hope there will be place for 100 coaches or more...

This less than a 2-hours drive for me so I'm very tempted... But I'll wait and see which extortionist price GW will ask for this event first.

I hope the price is not to much. The shirt from this year was to much expensive.
With no sleeping and eating there must be a price from 25 € - 35 €. Than it was the same price like the DB 05.
But if it was more, i think many coaches think twice about the Dungeon Bowl.

a price more then 45 euro will be a bad joke and i think if its more expensive a lot auf players will not join this event

Is there anyone who lives nearby who'd be willing to offer a foreign coach a bed for the weekend? (he asks hopefully)

Clean, tidy and house trained :D

My girl friend could have been a free bed (Not with her in it!).
But I have to whisper it to her many nights before she agrees I guess.

There is a possibility that I could get acces to a flat, where some people could sleep. It would be a completely empty one though, so sleeping bags, candels etc. would be necessarry and there would be no kitchen.

If I`ve got more details I´ll post them.
