I can't find any of the fine Swedish tourneys in here. :) What about the GothCon, the LinCon (aka Swedish Open) and the Spettcake III? Arkeo, Thadrin, anyone?

Nor are there any Swedish tournament under NAF's homepage, according to Thadrin then there is not that much happening in Sweden at the moment. Where will GothCon, LinCon and Spetcake III take place or where did they take place the last time?

Hm... Instead of just sitting on my ass and ask questions I decided to sit on my ass and google up answers. I discovered there are few answers as of yet. This is what I found:

LinCon takes place in Linköping, Sweden 16-19 June. However, I have no idea if they will arrange a BB event as they had to recruit an organizer from Uppsala last year... :wink: Well, their homepage says nothing of the events yet. We'll have to wait and see.

GothCon will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden 25-27 March. They will house a BB tournament, max 20 entries. Not NAF sanctioned to my knowledge. http://www.gothcon.se/oldweb/thexxix/index.htm

SydCon will be held late July/early August. I can't find any homepage so there are no signs of a Spettcake III yet, but it's too early I guess. It seems that GothCon have adapted the Spettcake rules set though.

Rather surprisingly, I discovered we also have a convention in Uppsala next weekend! If Thadrin and I would have known about this earlier, I'm sure we could have thrown something together, but now it's a little too late... :cry: I hope the guys at UppCon will advertise their event more next year.

If you know where SydCon will be held (I don't expect it to be Sydney!) I will add that one as well.

All the BB tournaments that get posted here or Pm'd to me will be added to the list, no exceptions!

The 2005 Italian Open will be the 17th-18th of September... sadly it's the same weekend of a tournament in Switzerland... but it's the only weekend in Bologna free of important events, so finding a cheap accomodation should be easier.

By the way, the tournament will be in the same venue of last year:
