I need some help. I have tried to download JavaBowl several times; I keep getting an error that say something to the effect of “splash page is corrupted, replace it”. Then I get a blank screen. When I click on the center, I get a message that says “Are you sure you want to end the game” When I click on yes or no, nothing happens. I have to reboot to get out of the application. The game never starts.

Does anyone know what is causing this? Or better yet, how I can fix it?

When you've downloaded the zip file (http://home.austin.rr.com/javabbowl/Bbowl7_0.zip) and extracted the zip file to a directory double click the BBowl.jar file. This ought to start the client.

If you can't run the jar file then you'll need to download the JRE from Sun (http://java.sun.com).
