zip problems

I want to get myself set up for pbembb, but my computer isn't that new and doesn't have a program for 'zipping' files. I've tried downloading a few freeware programs for this purpose, but they only seem to work for unzipping files. Can anyone point me in the right direction, so that I can get this sorted?

Cheers. Didn't want to have to pay for the program, but I got winzip 9.0 beta for free, and it seems to be working fine.
