For what? This round of the Pub League? Other Leagues? One-off games?

Create your pitch and stick it in your images file. When you set a game up, select that pitch from the appropiate menu. Your opponent will have to have a field named the same. Note that in a league the field is pre-set, and you'll have to rename your pitch to whatever the tool is configured to read. Example, this round of the pub league has the field set as beach_babes. Make a pitch and call it 'beach_babes', or select a pitch in the images file and rename it beach_babes if you've got a plain green pitch and can't see the ball.
Note Galak is hoping to make the next version of the tool configurable to choose your own pitches.
Here's a couple I knocked up recently, one for my pub team and one for Lucy's Undead:

Anything but the beastly green...

Where did you get the base for those pitches? Dunno if I could make something like that from scratch.

That said, getting an astrogranite for my dwarfs would be cool...

Have a look in the images file, I just adapted one from in there.
This may be useful as well:

And Del says you ought to be getting on with this pub game. Just go into 'images', pick a field and rename it 'beach_babes' and you'll be good to go.

I've gotta change the EZ colour on the right hand end, it clashes horribly with the range bands at the long pass/bomb ranges. Just copy and paste the left hand end I guess.
Not that Long Bombs should worry Undead too much! :D

Huh ... what ... I ALREADY DID THAT!!! .... quite a while ago in fact.

Go into your HTML and before or after the Team Pictures block add this line of code on its own line:

Code: Select all

Team Field=<IMG SRC="Fieldname.jpg">
Where Fieldname.jpg is the name of the pitch you want this team to use.
Then make sure that that JPG is in the ROSTER directory (NOT under one of the race subfolders just in ROSTER.

Everytime you take a turn with this team that field will load. Get the commish to add it permantently to your html roster as they only time it matters is when the game is first set up.

This setting in your HTML will not effect your opponent at all. They will see whatever field they normally see.

Hmm should think making a bodged ice pitch wouldn't be too hard in photoshop, just put a white hue layer over the top for the simplist method.
