JBB Leap Bug

However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

JBB Leap Bug

Post by Thadrin »

I only just found out there was a new version, so maybe this has been fixed already, but I was running a test game with the new elf roster (running an 8 team test league...the Elves first game? Dwarfs. Luck of the draw.)

ANyway...I'm finding that Leap sort of sticks on, and the only solution is to end the player's turn. This has caused a few problems using the catchers to leap in to get a blitz (like, I can't) and ball carriers) leap over a player who's in the way, can't keep going).

Has anyone else had this problem? if so how do I solve it? or has it been patched?

maybe reading the instructions would help

you just click on another skill after the leap and can then carry on as normal, its always been like that since leap was implemented

the only problem that did come up was if leap was the only skill but i can't really see anyone taking that in which case there is a key you can press but i don't recall which it is as i just click on another skill, i do believe the readme will have this info though

If you only have one skill then you use a CTRL+LEFT CLICK to unselect. I didn't make that up, it is just a standard GUI convention that Java decided to use. This is mentioned in the readme.txt file.
