Hi there,

After the Utrecht vs Amsterdam clash played on the 18th of may, which was very enjoyable, I thought it might be a good idea to have a

"Toernooi van de Lage Landen"

to make out whether Belgian or Dutch coaches are the best in the Lowlands.

What do you guys think; would you be willing to participate in such a tournament (in which a team of Belgian coaches takes on an equal number of Dutch coaches) or not.

If there is enough interest from both Belgian and Dutch leagues; the next step, I think, is to get in contact with spokespersons from each of these leagues/groups.

Just reply to say whether your interested or not, and we'll see whether is enough interest to organise this event.

I've already represented Holland in an International tournament against England, which we won... too late to go back now...

I guess we can't pay you (enough) to move to Brussels or Antwerpen, can we?

Concerning the date-thing, point is, I'm about to become father within the coming days and this appears to come with lot's of responsibility (whatever that might be )

Can I add my son/daughter as a assistant coach/cheerleader on the roster?

This would be a nice occasion to pour more oil in the fire of the old Dutch-German "friendship".

Location should not be problem as all dutch people own a camping trailer, so you just come over here and camp Also you will be allowed to participate at the games unlike at the last soccer world championships

We could have the German-Dutch tournament at the Dutch coast just as easily; just come early to claim and dig your holes in the beach before all space is taken!

We will provide shovels, and you can also steal our bikes again when you start to cowardly run away

we'll be playing in Germany of course, because we want to make sure you're not claiming our beachspots by creating crater wholes in the sand. Furthermore we have no problems with playing a country who reaches the semi's everytime with the most boring performance in football history, since Erik the Viking taught his people the sport by swapping balls for babies.
You're country is only good in BB until the Brazilians appear

Do you play in a league/know other players and other leagues in Belgium? We want to reach as many Belgians as possible. Also, we need contacts in Belgium, to help us organize...

Haven't performed tabletop BB in years but I played a few Belgian coaches recently in PBeM. I'll contact them...

I guess all Belgian coaches in TBB have been contacted already?

BTW, I'm living at the coast near Ostend - did I see somebody mention playing in the sand

I haven't contacted anybody; I have just placed this post and another on the NAF forum and now I was hoping for reactions; I believe Lucy may have contacted some Belgian Coaches, though

If you would please ask the coaches you know to come over here (or to the NAF forum) that would help, thanx
