Lunecaster Bowl II - Lancaster, UK - Saturday 3rd June - SOLD OUT

Post by Waldorf28 »

Fancy another chill day of Blood Bowl in the historic city of Lancasater? Then come along to Lunecaster Bowl II. This tournament will not be NAF ranked, but the upside of that is you don’t need to be NAF registered to play.

Venue
Tabletop Republic
3-5 Damside Street
Lancaster
Lancashire
LA1 1PD

Just opposite the bus station and a ten minute walk from the train station. A car park is adjacent and would cost £6 for all-day parking but there are plenty of other car parks in Lancaster.

Rules
We will be using the new Matched Play Guid rules published by Games Workshop. This means 1200 to spend on buying your team. All GW teams are legal including those Teams of Legend not supplanted by an official release.

All inducements except Death Zone Mercenaries, Giants and Special Play Cards are available. All Star Players are available and Tier 2 and 3 teams can take two! However there is a Skill Point tariff of 2 per normal Star Player and 4 for a Megastar. Only one Megastar per roster. We will used the standard Blood Bowl Tiers as published on Page 12 of the recent Designers Commentary:
https://www.warhammer-community.com/wp- ... Rfq9lA.pdf

Tier 1 teams: 6 Skills Points, 1 secondary skill allowed, 1 Star available
Tier 2 teams: 8 Skills Points, 2 secondary skills allowed, 2 Stars available
Tier 3 teams: 10 Skills Points, 3 secondary skills allowed, 2 Stars available

A Primary Skill costs one Skill Point and a Secondary Skill costs 2 Skill Points. No player may stack skills.

Please bring a team where the miniatures clearly and unambiguously represent the players. If you are in any doubt or want to ask anything at all then check with the tournament organisers by posting below.

Cost
Please let us know your Blood Bowl name or actual name below and send £10 by PayPal to: PayPal.me/andrewbrennand

Food will not be provided but there will be 50% off food at GoBurrito just around the corner. Prize for the winner (amount of store credit dependent upon final number of players).

There are only 14 slots available for this tournament so please sign-up and pay as soon as you know you can make it. Your place is not reserved until payment is received.

Rosters
We will be using TourPlay to run this tournament, so please bring a smart phone or other wireless enabled device to record your games on the day. The app is very easy to use but we will be able to assist with using it on the day. Bring a pitch if you have one!

Deadline for roster submissions is Saturday 27th May. Once you have paid, please register your team with TourPlay here: https://tourplay.net/en/blood-bowl/lunecaster-bowl-ii

Pro Tips for Dudes on Rocking T-Shirts

T-shirts are like our homies through thick and thin. No matter what you’re doing or where you’re going, you gotta admit: a tee can help you with all of that! Heading to the office? T-shirt. Going to the Super Bowl? T-shirt. Vegging on the couch? T-shirt, obviously. For guys who can't be bothered with button downs and blazers and T-shirts are a life saver. Just slip one on and bam - stylish in seconds flat.

To ensure the best fit for each inpidual when wearing a T-shirt, this article will reveal some helpful tips for men, so let's explore! You can also visit big brands like Esty or Lion King Shirt simultaneously to apply these tips right away.

Choose a T-shirt that Fits Your Body Type and Style

Not all body types are the same, so picking the right T-shirt matters. If you've got a bigger midsection or are on the heavier side, a tight tee will only accentuate that area. Lean, toned guys can rock a snugger fit to show off their figure. If you want max comfort without feeling constricted, go looser. The bottom line is getting a tee that fits well, since that's key for any style.

Determine the Occasion for Wearing a T-shirt

It’s obvious that you can wear T-shirts anywhere, but it helps to think about the occasion. This way you can mix and match appropriately. Getting creative doesn't always make a good impression, so it would do you well to transform a basic tee into something polished or unique. For instance, a plain tee with a suit jacket and leather shoes looks sharp yet youthful. For an outdoor party, pair it with jeans, shorts or joggers.

V-Necks versus Crew Necks

Did you know that crew neck and V-neck tees are super popular right now? Gotta find out which style fits you best!

Crew necks tend to be better for dudes with a slimmer, more delicate build. A crew neck covers most of the neck, avoiding excessive exposure of the collarbone and drawing less attention to the upper body. This can make a skinny person appear less noticeable or lacking in vitality.

Meanwhile, V-neck T-shirts look best on men with a balanced physique. The deeper cut can highlight and enhance a firm chest, attracting attention to a masculine and attractive body shape. V-necks can also make you seem taller if you've got a shorter neck or narrower face. At reputable stores like Lion King Shirt: Top Premium Tees for Modern Fashion often include these types of neck-shirt; you can go check them out!

Remember the Colors For Your Own Sake

The color of your tee is also key for pulling together an outfit. Go with shades that flatter your skin tone and make sense for where you're wearing it. You can get creative and combine colors if you've got solid style chops. But if color coordinating isn't your jam, stick to basics like black, gray, and white until you get the hang of it.

Men can never go wrong with dark or neutral colors. These colors tend to enhance skin tone. For instance, gray allows you the freedom to choose brighter or darker hues for the rest of your attire. Black is a flexible choice for dark outfits, while white can be paired with anything without overwhelming any element.

Or sometimes, a plain white T-shirt is enough for your strong vibe!

Fabric Quality is Important

The fabric of a T-shirt plays a crucial role in determining both quality and comfort in varying weather conditions. You'll be impressed if you wear a T-shirt, especially the ones from big brands like Esty or Lion King Tee Shirt, which are made from superior material, as even identical shirts made from different fabrics will feel different when worn.

You might prefer T-shirt materials like cotton, bamboo, Merino, Jersey, Pima, stretch fabric, synthetic fibers, or cool knit, etc., to ensure the utmost comfort and safety for your skin when wearing, besides providing you with a masculine and stylish appearance.

Accessorize To Impress

While most guys favor simplicity, simple accessories like hats, shoes, sandals, glasses, belts, or watches can be the defining elements that give your outfit a unique style.

Depending on the occasion, add suitable accessories to elevate your look when paired with a T-shirt. Matching your socks to your tee color is a nice extra touch, that adds something sharp but subtle.

Wrapping Things Up

As a guy, styling T-shirts isn't just about looking fashionable and “hip”. It's also a chance to show off your personal flair and character. By carefully selecting items and accessories, you can create impressive and stylish outfits without complexity. Be confident and creative to establish your own style with the simplest of T-shirts!
