SKABB Summer Sevens

Vinyl Sevens pitches that will be used in the tournament will be available at £7.50 each. Please let us know by 1st July 2020 if you would like to purchase one.

This year sees the first ever NAF approved SKABB Summer Sevens Blood Bowl event!
Blood Bowl Sevens is a shorter, quicker version of the sport played on a smaller pitch by players who weren’t quite good enough to make it to the big leagues.

We will be using the official NAF ruleset which can be found here: https://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploa ... s-2019.pdf

In short:
- All 26 races are available to use
- 600,000 to spend on your team
- Re-rolls cost double
- You must hire 7 players and cannot hire more than 11
- Only 4 non lineman (0-12 or 0-16) players may be hired..
- Inducements must be bought at team creation. Halflings may take a chef for 100k and Goblins may take bribes at 50k each. No Star Players, special play cards, Exra team training or wizards may be induced.
Apothecaries may be purchased but to reflect their amateur status they only work on a d6 roll of 4+.

SKILLS

Each Team is allowed to give some of its players additional skills within the restrictions below. Each Team chooses 1 player to be the Team Captain; they gain the Leader skill.
The Team Captain mayswap the Leader Skill for a Normal Skill if they so wish.Teams will have a number of Skills allowed based on the Team’s Tier rating
No Player may be given more than 1 additional skill (note: the extra skill for the Team Captain is included in this rule)

0-1 Normal Skill
Amazon, Brettonians, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardman, Norse, Orc, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elf
TIER 2
0-2 Normal Skills (0-1 of which may be a Double Skill)
Chaos, Chaos Renegades, Elf, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Khorne, Necromantic, Nurgle, Slann, Underworld, Vampire
TIER 3 0-3 Normal Skills (0-2 of which may be a Double Skill)
Goblin, Halfling, Ogre


Schedule:
09:00 - 09:30 Registration
09:30 - 10:45 Game 1
11:00 - 12:15 Game 2
12:15 - 13:00 Lunch
13:15 - 14:30 Game 3
14:45 - 16:00 Game 4
16:15 - 17:30 Game 5
17:30 Awards Presentation (at the pub if Chaos Cards is closing)

Scoring:
The first round of matches will be randomised. Each following round will be determined through the Swiss system of ranking. Points are awarded for the following:
Win = 3 points.
Draw = 1 points.
Loss = 0 points.
Bonus points are awarded for Touchdowns and Casualties (incl. Fouls, crowd surfs, stabs and secret weapons) to a maximum of 3 points each. In the case of a tie, tiebreakers are as follows: TD For/Cas For/TD Diff/Cas Diff. If there is still a tie, Nuffle (a coin toss) will determine the winner.
