Things to Bring with You

A painted team.

Your Blood Bowl board.

Dice.

Templates.

Three printed roster sheets (one for me, one for yourself and one for your opponent.

Rules

We will be using the current BB 2016 rules (no cards). Plus Slann (no Khorne or Brets)

The Illegal Procedure and 4-minute time limit rules will not be enforced, though you may use them if both coaches agree. There will be a time limit for games as a whole though, so if you play slowly we may be forced to use a clock or have a result called early.

We will be using the standard "Resurrection" rules: teams remain identical from game to game, with casualties, winnings, fan factor rolls etc. not carrying forward.

Undead or Nurgle teams may not keep 'raised' players from game to game.

Team Selection

Coaches may spend up to 1,150,000 gold crowns on their teams.

No Inducements. An exception to this rule is Halfling, Goblin and Ogre teams, who may hire up to two Star Players as normal. Also, Goblins and Halflings can hire Bribes and MasterChefs.

Skills

The number of skills awarded will be determined by team type.

TIER 1 Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardman, Norse, Orc, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elf

TIER 2 Chaos, Chaos Pact, Elf, Underworld, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Necromantic, Nurgle, Slann

TIER 3 Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Vampire

TIER 1 = 6 normal

TIER 2 = 6 normal and 1 double

TIER 3 = 7 normal and 2 doubles

No one player can ever have more than one skill and stars cannot have skills added

Games and Scoring

The first round will be drawn randomly, with all further rounds using the Swiss system. The overall winner will be the coach with the most points at the end of the day - there will be no final.

Points are scored as follows:

10 points for a win.

5 points for a draw.

0 points for a loss.

Bonus points are 1 point per casualty and TD up to a maximum of 3 on each (therefore a 3-0 on td 3-0 cas would give you 16, whereas 1-0 and 5-0 would give you 14)

ALL CAS count towards your cas score.

Max participants
18

Your local NAF rep (me) won't be around for this one. I'm away on holiday.
Mrroberto has a NAF trophy for the winner (assuming 12+ coaches).
Any renewals will have to be done online or another time, any new members will have to be done online.

Excellent stuff guys! I’m trying to find out from the venue how many tickets they’ve sold as I know space is limited, will update when I know...

*edit* there’s 10 tickets left so recommend buying tickets in advance as unlikely to be any left on the day

Just an update from the venue re corona virus -

Corona Virus Update - LVL Up Gaming.

As a team we have decided that, for now, we are continuing as per normal.

All events are ON, but we will be reducing capacity to reduce the number of people in at any on time

We do ask that you make sure you wash your hands more than normal whilst instore.

We also ask that if you have any symptoms (cough/fever etc) that you do not come on in to the store.

We will make local deliveries (Bournemouth/Poole) if you are self isolating to make sure you have something to do! You can message the store during the day and we will try and help as many as we can.

All the above is subject to change. We will obviously monitor the situation closely and make decisions as they come up.

Thanks,

Lvl Up Store Team
Neil, James, Louis, Shaun and Karl.

As much as I'd like to say I'll still be there, I'll be taking a view next week.

Fingers crossed!

Hi all, I’m no longer going to attended. I would have been travelling across from the Isle of Wight and it’s an unnecessary risk in the current climate . I doubt this will still go ahead tbh, but if it does I won’t be there to input results to NAF so it’s unlikely to be NAF registered event now I’m afraid

Re: Lvlup Bournemouth Bowl 28/3/20 NO LONGER A NAF TOURNAMEN

I’ve also just been made aware of 6 other chaps no longer attending either so it’s fairly safe to say this isn’t going to go ahead. Hopefully the venue who are running this issue refunds to those with tickets. Stay safe folks

I won't be able to attend now. Since I live with a parent with severe asthma, I cannot take the risk.

Only way I could attend would be if this transfers to Fumbbl. Unlikely though :(
