• Inducements may be purchased during team creation, including 0-2 Star Players, but this excludes Wizards, Special Play Cards, and Unlimited Mercenaries. Inducements bought in this way are considered a permanent part of the team and can be used each game. Opposing teams may have the same Star Player.
The following are eligible to win the Stunty Cup: Halflings, Ogres, Goblins.
SPECIAL TOURNAMENT RULES
Deep in the maleficent Chaos Wastes rests an unlikely Blood Bowl hotspot: Solihell. The nefarious city sits within a strong gale of magic winds that leave the earth scorched and barren. The powerful magics cause the inhabitants of Solihell to burst forth with a host of mutations and malformations. Skin is rent open for protruding spikes to jut out from beneath the flesh, horns twist out from beneath scalps and great, misshapen claws sit at the ends of arms in place of human hands. The locals aren’t the only ones affected, however. Stay too long and you too may come away from Solihell with much more than a little trinket from the gift shop…
At the beginning of the match, before any rolls are made, each coach nominates three players from their team and rolls a D3 to choose one at random. That player gains a mutation. Which mutation they gain is determined by rolling a D6 on the Devilish Mutations table below. Coaches must choose one of the two mutations available. The chosen player then has that mutation for the duration of the match.
D6 DEVILISH MUTATIONS
1 Horns or Foul Appearance
2 Spikes (Stab) or Prehensile Tail
3 Extra Arms or Tentacles
4 Claws or Big Hand
5 Disturbing Presence or Two Heads
6 Choose any mutation from the ten Mutation skills available in the table or gain Very Long Legs. The chosen player also gains the Loner skill.
The following rules apply to the mutations: The mutated player is returned to normal at the end of the match. A player cannot be given the same mutation twice if they already have that mutation (for example, a Beastman cannot be given Horns). Star Players cannot be put forward to gain a mutation.
