TYBBL presents, Wibble Bowl 2017 - 9th September - Leeds
The Yorkshire Blood Bowl League, in association with the West Yorkshire Blood Bowl League presents - WIBBLE BOWL 2017
18 coach tournament - NAF ranked
Greetings Blood Bowl Coaches,
On the 9th of Septmeber 2017 at the Steinbeck United Reformed Church, TYBBL, and WYBBL, are proud to be hosting the 2nd Wibble Bowl.
General Information
Wibble Bowl will be held on Saturday 9th September 2017 at Stainbeck United Reformed Church, Stainbeck Road, Leeds, LS7 2PP
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Sta ... -1.5565859
Game timings will be as follows:
09:45 to 10.15 Registration
10:15 to 12:15 Game One
12:15 to 12:45 Lunch
12:45 to 14:45 Game Two
14:45 to 15:00 Break
15:00 to 17:00 Game Three
17:00 to 17:30 Awards and close
The venue has ample free parking which is accessed via Stainbeck Lane (around the corner from the front of the church). A buffet will provide for lunch and local shops and takeaways are just over the road from the church.
Entry costs and payment
Wibble Bowl is part of the church’s games day, however it is being organised by TYBBL who will be collecting the fees, these fees will be used to purchase trophies, and as a donation to the church for the buffet lunch and usage of the hall.
Entry is £12.50 per coach, and all coaches need to be NAF registered. We are hoping to have a NAF representative at the event, who can register or renew coaches (normally at a cost of £5.00).
Please send payments by paypal to admin@wybbl.org.uk. Could you select the 'gift' or 'paying a friend' option so we don't lose out on fees please?
Due to previous issues, we will not be offering refunds, however will do everything we can to help you sell your ticket on to another coach should the need arise.
Rules
Wibble Bowl will be using current NAF approved rule set. A new rules pack is due to be released in the next week or two, and a link will be provide once it’s available. The current NAF rule set can be found on the below link:
https://www.thenaf.net/2016/12/naf-rule ... st-feb-17/
The Illegal Procedure rule will not be enforced. There is a time limit for games, so coaches are encouraged to play 4 minute turns to ensure games are completed. Any games that reach the time limit will have to be halted and the result at this point will be the final result of that game.
We will be using the standard "Resurrection" rules; coaches will play each match with the same starting roster and do not need to record SPPs or any ongoing injuries. Undead, Necro or Nurgle teams may not keep 'raised' players from game to game.
Coaches may spend up to 1,100,000 gold crowns on their team roster. Rosters may include one star player as part of the team; the star player may be part of the starting eleven players. Halfling, Goblin and Ogre teams are an exception to this rule; they may have two star players, both of which can be part of the starting eleven players.
No inducements may be taken except by goblins, who make take up to 3 bribes at 50k each, and halflings who may hire a master chef for 100k.
Each team will be offered a skills package to enhance their players; this will be done on a tier system.
TIER 1 Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardman, Norse, Orc, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elf
TIER 2 Chaos, Chaos Pact, Elf, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Necromantic, Nurgle, Slann
TIER 3 Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Underworld, Vampire
The packages will be as follows:
TIER 1 = 2 normal skills
TIER 2 = 3 normal skills
TIER 3 = 3 normal skills and 1 double skill
You may not assign more than one additional skill to any player and star players may not have additional skills added.
Games and Scoring
The first round will be drawn randomly, with all further rounds using the Swiss system. The overall winner will be the coach with the most points at the end of the day - there will be no final.
Points are scored as follows:
10 points for a win.
5 points for a draw.
0 points for a loss.
Ties (for both Swiss and final winner) will be resolved as follows:
Ties to be determined on the following (in order) Head to Head, Strength of Schedule, TD difference, CAS difference
Casualty score in this case is casualties from BLOCKING ONLY (including "defensive" ones where the blocking player ends up injured and gives the intended victim a casualty point).
Things To Bring With You
A painted team.
Your Blood Bowl board.
Dice.
Templates.
Three roster sheets (one for the head ref, one for yourself and one for your opponent).

Okay, all 16 places have gone!
I'm going to talk to the venue and see if we can get some extra space.

Hi all,
Okay, we've got another table sorted, so we can now offer 18 places, which is good news.
Bad news is that they've already gone to our reserve list.
We are hoping to have another 2 spaces at the very least (plan is to get to 24 if possible so we qualify for a NAF trophy), so if you are still wanting to play, add your name to the reserve list (by replying below).
