Where is it being held?

Bridie Bowl will be held at the Webster Memorial Theatre in Arbroath. Arbroath is located on the east coast of Angus approximately 15 miles north east of Dundee, on the A92. There is ample parking locally, all of which is free. For anyone not driving up, the town is on the mainline rail network between Glasgow/Edinburgh and Aberdeen, and the railway station is only a short walk away from the venue. If you feel compelled, you can also get there by boat, but that will depend heavily on the tides. Directions to The Webster Theatre can be found here.

Was tempted by this as I am on a training course in Fife from 18th to 20th March and then 23rd to 27th March but doubt I would get the brownie points not to come home at the weekend in between!

If there are any Scots who want a bit of pre tournament practice before or a friendly the week after and are near fife let me know, I'm sure I can pack a team!

Peo, it is only a 1 day tournament. Come down to mine in Edinburgh on the 20th and we will look after you (although if you start dancing we may not have to). Back up to Arbroath on the 21st for the tournie, train home that evening. 21st to 23rd at home and then back up to Fife. Simples!

Floated idea with my wife who kindly reminded me that I have to see my family on the 21st and sort out bridesmaid dresses for my daughters (oh yes my life is soooo pink) so alas it's not simples...

Offer of friendly games still stands though!

Peo,

The nearest Blood Bowl club to Kincardine is the Stirling Wargamers and their email contact address is info@stirling-wargamers.org.uk alternatively if you can be bothered schlepping into Edinburgh then the Edinburgh League of Gamers http://www.edinburghleagueofgamers.co.uk/ meets on a Wednesday night and I would be delighted to give you a game there. Lastly you can post on the Team Scotland Blood Bowl site http://team-scotland.freeforums.net/ and maybe pick up a game there.

Cheers
