Not the best idea to post your mobile number on a public forum that is crawled by bots who may grab your number for nefarious deeds....

More info on tourney? Like where it is? When it is?

Where's that? UK? (A google search suggests Buckinghamshire, is that correct?)

2 weeks is a little short on notice.

You say it's a 72 hour tournament, any more info on that? Are you looking at a marathon session playing through the night sort of thing (could be fun, will be exhausting)? Or just 3 days of BB? That might put some off as it would roll into the monday and most people will have to be back at work.

5th April already has two BB tourneys booked up in the UK, so you might be competing for coaches.

Moved to the UK section.

More details might help, like rules, venue location, etc, but like Lunchmoney says, 2 weeks notice of a tournament that is going on the same time as two other events that have advertised well in advance is probably going to struggle. I'm not free that weekend anyway, but if I was I'd have already arranged to be at one of them.

No chance you could push it back to later in the year? Means you could be a bit more thorough on the details and more importantly, more tournament going coaches might be available.

We have sold 40 tickets, if it's a good hit we will do more later in the year

That's a pretty good number, is this mostly from the local gaming community or have you manged to get people from further afield?

The reason I ask is that between the two other tournamnets that weekend many of the 'usual suspects' for English tournments are accounted for. If there is a pool of other players who may be interested to know about Blood Bowl tournaments we would love to spread the word.

It's was a spare of the moment thing, my sister was diagnosed with cancer last November and 18 days she passed away, and one of are local lads has also just been told he also has cancer, so we just try to get so funds, I'm also trying to get a necro team for him, if anyone has one for sale or trade

As the others say (hello from Facebook too, by the way!), 40 is an impressive number with not much advertising in the wider BB community. Hope it goes really well!

Wow, sorry to hear about your sister and your gaming club friend. If I wasnt already attending a BB torni that weekend I would have tried to be there, plus keep us informed of any later on in the year if you do another.
