We're back once again for another weekend of high quality blood bowl (at least from some people ) and full on socialising! We'll be offering the usual mix of prizes, social mayhem and the much vaunted Waterbowl CD of course but because it's the 10th installment we'll be looking to do something special in conjunction with our Hartlepool compadres at the Monkeybowl (likely to be 12/13 2015) who are also celebrating 10 years of weekend mayhem.

I'm not just talking about the excellent Watermonkey discount either!

Payment
Entry to the tournament costs £20 for NAF members and £25 for non-NAF (this price includes NAF membership).

Payment is by paypal (Go to http://www.paypal.com and pay your entry fee into the account: waterbowl@hotmail.co.uk) or cash (If you wish to pay by cash/cheque, then pm Leipziger on talkfantasyfootball.org or waterbowl.freeforums.org).

Important: Monkeybowl and its sister tournament The Waterbowl Weekender offer a £5 discount to those who sign up for both events at once. Joint Watermonkey payments are £30 per person.

(The full undiscounted price would be £35, i.e. £15 for Monkeybowl plus £20 for Waterbowl. Please send all joint Watermonkey payments to waterbowl@hotmail.co.uk.)

Also please note that Waterbowl and Monkeybowl will be commemorating their 10th editions in 2015. We will be celebrating this by producing a unique giveaway for everyone who attends Monkeybowl and/or Waterbowl.

If you wish to Watermonkey this year, there is still a discount available. As Bren & I are looking to get something special made as a freebie to mark the respective 10th anniversary of the WB/MB Weekends, this year the MB price has been put up by £5 otherwise we could not afford the gift that we have in mind. This means Monkeybowl on its own is £15. So the Watermonkey this year is £30 (£35 non-Naf)

That initial set of the rules had the wrong date on - it's 21/22 not 22/23 Feb!


CURRY
Ok, those that wish to curry (about 20 odd so far):

I just spoke to The Kismet and I have booked a table for 35 people.

The deal is £12 all you can eat as long as you buy a drink (I did explain that this was a given for BB players )

5 different curries, 5 different starters, rice, naan all available (if you're a veggie, let me know - I know we have at least two coming)

Usually the restaurant charges £20 for this deal (without the drink caveat) so they've given us a nice discount based on our previous good work at their restaurant

Excellent, longtime WB stalwart Shaniepoo is squeezing in a trip before his wedding next year Word on the street is that he will be turning up in a thong and a veil...

I'll be there. Last years was a laugh. sure i'll be bringing some other geordies with me.

Just remember to wear shoes this year.

I ought to be coming again and might be able to make it a Watermonkey next year too

Stockport is a suburb to Manchester is it?

How are the accomodations around stockport? I could imagine taking the trip over there from Sweden if the setting is right.

@Johnny - Stockport's very close to the glorious Mancunian metropolis

The majority of people who stay over get a place at the Premier Inn very close by or the Alma Lodge (about 15 mins away).

It would be great to have a Swede or two to complement the much loved annual Danish onslaught
