In 2014 We'll back with another Dutch Open in Amsterdam!

We'll be using the same venue as last year and will be able to host 50 players quite easily with options to increase this number.

Please note that if we do have to increase the capacity, we'd like to know well in advance, so please register when you know you'll come!

When?
Superbowl weeken 2014! That's the first weekend of februari (1st and 2nd).

Rules:
5 games, resurrection
The Dutch Open traditional ruleset. TV 1100000, 1 skill after each game.
No inducements, flings (100k chef) and goblins (50k bribes) excepted.

Costs:
A ticket will cost €25

Accomodation?
Close by the venue there's this youth hostel (stayokay). Of course there's plenty of options in Amsterdam.

I have booked my flights, arriving 8.30am on Saturday, returning 7.45pm Sunday

Need to sort accomodation too. We (2 of us) only need 1 night, seems Stayokay is out. Anyone have any advise? :-/

Otherwise there's this hostel near Vondelpark where most of the T5 people stay in summer, that might work too. Actually I believe there's a ton of hostels in Amsterdam, is there really no place anywhere?

Well, we (Marco and myself) prefer just 1 night, but the Stayokay doesnt really let us (you need 2 nights in the weekends).
And I know from experience that booking on the day itself, when you are trying to play some kind of game and drinking beer/having fun is kinda streddful. I mean, I dont find the thought of sleeping IN the Vondelpark particulary appealing.

I might be persuaded to go for 2, start Friday and go home on Sunday. Have to check that with he missus, but if I leave when the kids are in bed it should probably be allright

There are no bars in Amsterdam besides The Schutter! Any suggestion otherwise is nothing but lies and heresy!
