Hi All,

The Merseybowl will be the first two day Bloodbowl tournament hosted by the Terra Nova Gryphons gaming club. We have previously run three one day tournaments – the Gryphonbowl - but decided to expand to a 2 day, 5 game, ‘on campus’ style event.

Fear not though…there are plans to revive the Gryphonbowl late 2013!

Our aim will be the same as our previous tournaments - to provide a fun, competitive, NAF ranked tournament with good prizes, some freebies and a hot dinner!

What:

NAF ranked, 2 day, 5 game tournament

When:

2nd and 3rd March 2012

Where:

Britannia Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool

Cost:

NAF - £25
non-NAF - £30 includes NAF membership.

Includes buffet curry on Saturday evening. If you do not want the curry the cost is reduced by £5.

We have also arranged reduced rates for the hotel (see rules pack for details).

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, most TDs, most CAS, Best Painted, Best Sports, spot prizes

Plus 2 free Gryphon Dice to every player who gets their roster in on time

Rules:

Competiton Rules pack (aka LRB6.0) + Chaos Pact, Slann & Underworld Creepers
1.1M GC teams
12/6/0 scoring +1 pt for TDs and Cas (upto +3)
4 normal and 2 double skills per team (you may take normal skills instead of doubles if you like)
1 skill can vetoed at the start of each game
No inducements except Master Chef for halflings and bribes for gobbos

Also, just so everyone knows, TNG will also be running our annual WFB tournament at the same time. This will be in a different room to the BB but the evening curry will be a mixed affair.

So come along and meet some of those weirdos with their 500+ page rule books and endless comp arguments. I believe Jimany is playing

For any veggies attending there is a FANTASTIC cafe a short walk up Renshaw Street from the Adelphi.

The Egg? Not just for veggies...the food there is fantastic. I'll also investigate a veggie option for the curry on Saturday night.
