It gives me great pleasure to say that the 8th Waterbowl (7th weekender) will be taking place on the 18th and 19th February 2012 at the Northwest Gaming Centre

You can expect the usual array of prizes (for achievements great and small ), great players, another legacy team (remember last year, it wasn't won by a Waterbowler ) and a social. Not to mention the fact that the Waterbowl is the spiritual home of the Stunty Cup. And there is the chance to be a part of musical history! Yes, there will be another waterbowl CD. In a break from previous years, there will be 20 spots available on the CD this year. First 20 to pay get a spot.

The price will be £20 (NAF) or £25 (Non-NAF, but includes NAF membership)

The Watermonkey Discount
Watermonkey will still be going strong, with knobs on. In addition to the joint WB/MB trophy, there is a £5 discount for signing up to Monkeybowl 2012 (March 31st/April 1st) and Waterbowl 2012 at the same time.

Joint Watermonkey payments are £25. That’s rather than £10 (MB) + £20 (WB) i.e. £30.

In a change to the normal protocol if any team members would like to be Watermonkeys, the team captain should send payment to Brendan, not to me i.e. by PayPal to brendanspencelayh@yahoo.co.uk

Please indicate which members of the team are paying as Watermonkeys. Costs per team would be as follows:

Before I commit to actually coming this year, how easy is Stockport to get to from Manc Airport?
Looks like it should be fairly straightforward.
Also, assuming I did come, would someone local be willing to give me a sofa to kip on (saving me a wodge of cash) or is there a travel lodge in the environs?

Getting to the airport is pretty easy. Depending on the flight time, I might even be able to drive you there after.

To bad that you don't live near Malmø and Copenhagen airport, we normally got lovely cheap flights from their to Manchester and London with easyJet oO(Played 7 UK tournaments untill now this year *raw*)

I was actually thinking about something silly, like; "We Are Danish Dynamite" (a football EM song from 1984) But i like the idea with Volbeat and something like "Sad Man's Tongue" oO(A personal favorit of mine)

I will be there watermonkeying, just need to get the team sorted and then payment will be sent.
