Rules summary for the big points:
TV 1.1M you can add one skill or +1 MA or +1 AV to any player for CRP cost (you cannot add the same upgrade more than twice on your team)
CRP + 3 new teams
Inducements allowed excepts Wizards, Mercs, Special Play cards, and Journeymen

Sweet. Glad to see this up and running, and happy to see that both North American Majors are now 2 weeks apart now like Wimbledon and the French Open. Call out to all you Euros out there: Spike! 2010 September 11th and 12th, Chaos Cup 2010 September 25th and 26th - hit both the new world Majors in 2 weeks!

If you guys do this next year then it may well encourage alot of us to make that effort

That is the plan. We wanted to get the Spike! out of the summer months (August) and into September, and Tom wanted to move the Chaos Cup forward into September to avoid the winter (October). The fortunate result of this is that is makes both NA Majors doable for travelers that take 2 weeks off of work. It is my intention to keep the schedule this way to encourage Euros who might be keen to do both, and if not in 2010 then hopefully 2011.

I have had a chat with a few of the guys who have gone over for the Chaos Cup and they are not too sure if it is doable still, as we would in affect need to be taking off 3 weeks with the travel either side, still possible for a few of us though

I'd like to attend this tournament. The only way of getting from O'Hare International Airport to Downers Grove is renting a car or there is any kind of public transportation?

We can hope. Hopefully it's still just a 2 week vacation for you Europeans with a couple of 'personal days' and bto's (banked overtime) worked in to make it doable.

The way I see it, it is now or never. Once I come back to Spain, the possibilities of playing the Spike! or the Chaos Cup are close to zero. The only problem, of course, is the money. I have spent a lot of money in the trip I'm doing at the Northwest, and I probably shouldn't go to the Chaos Cup, but I'm still trying to figure it out. Never lose hope, right? Anyway, it will always be cheaper from NYC than from Spain

Any news on the results/final standings???
