Aftermath Gaming Club are taking tentative steps into hosting our first Bloodbowl tournament on Sunday, 13th September at the historic Lazar House (map) in Norwich.

It's a three game swiss resurrection 1.1M+skills affair - full details are at http://www.aftermath-tournament.co.uk.

If it's a success we hope to repeat this with NAF accreditation in 2010 (i.e. we're playing safe and not going for the NAF accreditation for this first stab).

Entry is £10.00 and we're hoping to have 20 coaches (although if there's lots more interests we'll see if we can squeeze a few more in).

Edit: If anyone wants to secure their place without forking out the extortionate 54p Paypal fee, I'll be (losing) at Carrot Crunch III this weekend and will be happy to relieve you of a tenner there.

Yes, there is a clash, unfortunately. If it's a success we'll be more careful before booking the hall for 2010 (and will hopefully have a better name for the tournament too - is Mustard Bowl taken?)

Emrys, one of the young lads from the club is interested in coming, but i see you have an age limit.

He is under 18 but of an age where he would not be a problem at the event. Your views on this please.

I understand that the club had problems at past (WFB) tournaments with early teens being dropped off first thing in the morning and parents complaining their little preciouses had not been given constant supervision.

I'll double check with the organisers but if he's not coming on his own then I wouldn't anticipate a problem.

How about LAZARUS BOWL, ties in with a resurection tournament and the venue.

Put me down as interested please.

A short hop down the A47 for me on this one!!

Unfortunately a lack of registrations means the tourney's in doubt unless we get a flurry of cheques in the next couple of weeks.

If anyone's a "definite" rather than "interested" then now would be a really good time to pop a cheque in the post if you can.

Yay! We've got enough in to cover the hall hire so AfterBowl is definitely ON (although our treasurer's having problems logging on to record this fact on the site, apparently).
