just reserved a place!

Won't be coming last like last year, but won't be winning either- was just wondering if you can get extra boards made to buy at the tourney?

Much as I'd love to be able to make extra Thrudbowl boards to sell for the charity, Carl doesn't want to risk upsetting Games Workshop and so asked us to make it a one-of-a-kind...

...so you'll just have to win this year, Leon!

The Chainmail is still work in progress, please be patient will be finished SOON(ish). Well, before 21st July, anyway... its a LONG process!

The board can be seen on the website, www.thrudbowl.com, on the prizes page...

I'm updating the website tonight to add pictures of the star wars mini busts, and will get the chainmail on as soon as it is done (or nearly done)...

Tom showed me the pitch for the board a few weeks ago before the bloodbowl and it looked very cool. I'd certainly like one even though I have more boards than I need. Well done Tom.

I've now asked Carl Critchlow if it's ok to approach GW to see if we might be able to make up to a dozen of these, seeing as there are so many people trying to get one from me!

Fingers crossed, but Carl is really retiscent about this as he doesn't want to offend GW or damage his relationship with them. And I also don't want to get BRBBA in "trubble with the trolls", or piss off Carl with too many inquiries( he's a very busy chap).

I reckon GW might be ok with this, but I reckon it will depend on who at Lenton makes these sorts of decisions.

On the assumption Carl changes his mind and lets me ask GW, is there anyone out there who knows EXACTLY who I would (theoretically) be best asking?

I'm not sure what grounds GW will have to object on. The only part of the board that is GW imageary are the yellow flagstones from the turntracker with the numbers removed. It doesn't even say blood bowl on it anywhere. Still, better to be safe than sorry I guess.

probably best to ask the guy from the Dutch open that made all those boards.

Considering its not for comercial gain and its helping charity, I dont forsee a problem with making boards.

It's just another fan based conversion isn't it ?
