the tickets don't go on sale till the 7th of feb and then the rules will get sent out after that
so no one knows the rules for the tournament yet
as for the standard blood bowl rules and the race stats they are all on the rulebook which you can download for free on the official blood bowl site

15th Feb?
Is there two tournaments in Nottingham this year?
The Blood Bowl is in May with tickets on sale Feb 7th.
This 15th Feb date doesn't mean anything to me.

Well, it's a shop tournament, so you just go there, then buy the minis you need to play with ...

just to clarify, it's a GW cell tournament, so it's only the stores in Cambridge's cell. AFAIK it's Northampton, Leicester, Peterborough, Loughborough, Cambridge and Coventry.
Cambridge are sending a fairly decent team, with about 6 players I think.
Although I was a bit worried it would be just us showing up and no-one else, from what I hear there may well be a few people on the day...

stores in the UK are organised into cells, with each cell coming under a manager who then reports back to HQ. Cells are typically organised according to geography although how the hell cambridge, loughborough and cov got lumped together I don't know.
cells typically organise their own 40k/WFB tournaments as it provides a way of building up some inter store rivallry.(sp?)
totally unconnected to the BB AFAIK

Still waiting
Still my answer has not been answered, does the normal tourney rule arrange or do they have any special ones?

we don't know yet, it hasn't been announced. expect rules similar to last year's BB, including star players in all likelihood.LittleFatPetey wrote:Still my answer has not been answered, does the normal tourney rule arrange or do they have any special ones?

Cool
I know 3 ppl from Northampton going, but I think there is more. This is my first real tourney and to be honest I havn't been BB that long, just wanted some experience before the Pearly Kings and Queens. So its 3 games high point value to semis and the finals?
