Nighthawk: we'll have to play again someday to let me show those last 5 pointy ears the road to the dead & injured box.
M@Hobbit, I'll make sure to even more take advantage of your ball handling problems :P
That was a great game, next time I'm going for the win even if it leaves me 1 player on the pitch :D

Congrats to the organisers - I love playing so close from home !!!

The results are up on the Brassman site. You can find them on the blood bowl message board. Looks like I guessed right and did came in fifth. Also narrowly beat JC to most TDs.

Apparently, the guy who won the painting contest didn't paint his figs himself but had them painted by a professional painter.

Anyone aware of that before or has he just 'forgotten'... :pissed:

Shame...
And he got a mino fig for his "efforts"...

I was under the impression that he actually did paint those models himself. Although I am not sure, but I kinda remember asking him.

I don't want to accuse people without proof (espacially for this kind of things which aren't really important). :)

But everybody agrees that this kind of stuff shouldn't happen.

Check that out in miniatures : http://www.talkbloodbowl.com/phpBB2/vie ... c&start=15

Narkotic says that the painter of the figs said he painted them for him.

It was like for my dark elves. Arkhandzar, the one that came second, painted them. If I had been elected, I would have given my prize to him.

The painter's name is Christian Weiß and he is a pro painter, he earns his money by painting minis. At his homepage www.stronghold-online.de a BB Dwarf team is displayed which, according to I_dauguet, has won the Brassmann open painting contest.

I asked Christian if he knows any of the participants of the Brassmann open and he said that he knows that Olaf Stober (who was among the participants) and that he has painted the Dwarfs for him.

Olaf Stober has won the price for the best painted team. Two days ago Olaf and Christian had a phone talk in which Olaf mentioned that he played at the BB tourney and ended the tourney at 6th place but did not mention at all that he has won the best painted team award... (?!)

Well...
