Pending a massive rush of interest, I’m keeping the limit of twenty places.

As it’s my first (albeit reboot) Foul Bowl, I’d rather run it well than run it big this year - particularly as it’s four games in one day, which will inevitably bring its own ‘challenges’!

Will continue to take paid reserves (up to a maximum of three places) to reduce the impact of cancellations. A reminder that there will be no refunds for cancellations within two weeks of the tournament date.

It would allow me to reach the same level of Zen that I achieve by only ever taking 3 block dice and 2 D6 to any tournament.

I simply remove all those negative waves from play. Whether my dice are to blame or not, I have no choice but to persevere with them. I just turn up knowing there are just as many sixes on my dice as ones - its very calming.

I’d like all rosters in by September 1st to give Sann and myself the chance to check them before the day, just to allow us a prompt start once everyone has landed. Please send them to haribo_21@hotmail.com and sann0638@hotmail.com, including your NAF name.

These won’t be shared anywhere before the tournament (though we can share them afterwards, if people are interested).

I can’t incentivise people to get them in on time, all I can do is guilt-trip that failure to get them in may mean a delay to the start of the day, and have a knock-on effect for subsequent games.

I doubt the Spike! magazine will be released in time anyway but, due to the inevitable typos and editing oversights, Foul Bowl 3 will be using the existing Lizardmen rules, positionals and star players.

A quick rules question to make sure I understood the scoring. Is there a maximum of 1 bonus point per match for causing a casualty through fouling? Or is it one point per casualty scored by fouling with no limit?

“In addition, there will be 1 additional point available, per game, from fouls which result in a Casualty.”

Maximum one point per game for casualty-causing fouls.

Total fouls per game (whether they cause casualties, or not) are being recorded, but that is to help with awarding the Most Fouls award; nothing to do with bonus points.
