NEWS!

I've just been told by the venue that they have lost my booking and put someone else in the train on Saturday.

Suffice to say I am not impressed and will be looking for a solution as quickly as possible.

I've supplied evidence to the hotel that they were aware I was booked in (emails from back in March) and asked that they should honour my booking and the other party should be bumped.

I've not had a reply to that yet.

I've also started sending out emails to many other places with questions about hall/room hire. One replied and said they wanted £4200 + VAT per day! A little beyond my budget ;)
I will keep this updated and once a new venue is set I will contact all those that have paid already to check they are still in. Those who want refunds will get them. If I cant do lunches at where ever we end up I will refund as much as I can to each person who is still in.

Watch this space.

Going to view a place this evening. Looks good from website and price is ok. No catering on this option, but there are many shops and a cafe or two around the corner plus pub the other side of the road.

Will be in, as long as you’re running it

And a great Indian restaurant nearby (less than 100yards) for evening social.

Actually I really hope this one works out, might be better all round...

New venue secured, booking in place, and deposit paid.

We will now be at The Junction, Station Road, Broadstone.
http://thejunctionbroadstone.co.uk/
They have a good sized bar lounge for us to play in. Meaning we are no longer capped at 24.

Saturday start will be from 12 as they have a child actors class in there in the morning. Sunday from 10.

There is no catering in your ticket price now. Tickets will drop to £12. I will issue part refunds to those that have paid and full refunds to anyone who no longer wants to play.

Around the corner is this Indian restaurant http://www.moonlightbroadstone.co.uk/
I love their food and would think it would be great for a Saturday evening social.

I will get on and edit the rules pack and the OP when I get some time (might be tonight, might be tomorrow).
