Edit - will probably be either Ogres or Wood Elves, opposite ends of the spectrum!!
Nice one - will be good to see you again Tom. Looks like there could be quite a contingent for the stunty cup if you do take Ogres!

Well, a third of the tickets have gone now - a decent start! Get your cash in now to avoid disappointment (and beer!).

Just under a couple of months to go now. Could do with a few more paying, so we can get the prizes in hand. So, any takers out there?

I'll be there now I'm living down in London.

Btw, I thought you were changing the scoring system to 12/6/0?

Great news Joe!

Eek, I thought I'd changed it already. Will have a look - it should be 12/6/0.

Hi Will and Dave...

Looking into possibly coming along to this. Got a question though - if I buy skills (at 20k / 30k) from the treasury, can these skilled players be given one of the six free skills? E.g. human blitzer with mighty blow (20k) plus tackle as one of the six?

Sorry if this is clear in the rules / if someone already asked.

Cheers
Bren

Good man Pippy, good man!!

Skills do not stack, so maximum of 1 skill per player. So no, can't have mighty blow AND tackle. Hope that clarifies.

Hi,

Just wondering if there is any updates or news on tickets (or is it a case of just turning up on day) etc. Also are there tickets still available etc as was going to try and bully a mate along if he can swing it off work!

Cheers

Well, hopefully there will be another update soon with more pics of the prizes.

We are limited to 30 people, which if everyone who is on the interested list pays would mean we are full. That is unlikely to happen as you always get a few drop outs.

It's more of a first-come first-served thing - we have sold 10 tickets so far, but have had plenty of emails from those who are likely to be coming.

We are around 6 weeks away now, so could do with a bit more entry fee cash so we can sort out the rest of the prizes (as we may need to paint one or two!).

Hope that helps, you've paid already though Gortex so no need to worry for you!

Wonder if I can miraculously rush out my Chaos Dwarfs instead... still haven't finished the Woodies and the Ogres at this point are a pipe dream. Oh well, I've always got my trusty Orcs on standby!

Also, beer!

So have people settled on teams yet? I'm the least decisive list writer in the world. I generally wont choose a race let alone a team/army until a day or 2 before and have been known to change the complete army on the morning of a tournament. So currently very bored at work and mumbling to myself goblins, amazons, humans, woodelves, back to goblins, skaven, halflings damn not finished.

Really want to play goblins but they are no where near complete and due to moving house/work/life they are definately not going to be finished! So think that leaves painted, Amazons, Humans, Norse, Skaven, Woodies, High Evles, Choas Pact. Any requests lol

Any one else having race/team selection issues?

I'm humming and hawing between Lizzies and Khemri.

I 'm currently enjoying playing both, but seem to be doing better with Khemri. I kinda thnk I should persivere with the Lizzies though (and they're closer to being painted!)

Cheers,

Dom

Well I'm a spare player, but if I'm needed it will be halflings or humans. I'll decide with a coin flip I expect!
