I'm interested. Nice to see a local tournament (If 30+ miles away is local???)

Just out of interest, since you've said you're not too fussed about the painting, what about the models themselves? I only have a Skaven, a Dwarf, a and a Human team, but I'm sure I have plenty of D&D figures that I could modify to make a Goblin team...

I can lend you a goblin team if you need it.

TOs call at each event, but if you were playing me and I was able to tell what's what without having to question every turn I'd be ok with converted minis.

As Lunchmoney says, most people won't be fussed if you've a sensibly converted team which can be clearly distinguished as what they are supposed to be. I'd tend to draw the line at unmodified 'proxies', it just makes things unnecessarily confusing for your opponent.

I can loan you Goblins (or anything else you might want to try) for the day.

Add me as interested. I'll see if i can sort out the day off work.
