Don't worry we're not overly worried about paint, but a tournament is always a good motivatorthatguylofty wrote:I'm definitely interested, this'll be my first tournament. Will know closer to the end of this year for sure if I can attend.
Hopefully this is enough notice for me to get one painted team out of all the grey plastic I own!!

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

I'm sure I'll get something sorted, definitely a good motivator. Just have to make my choice on race, I'm in for the fun rather than the glory so it may well be halflings

Or leaping Krox (hmmmm).
This is the sort of nonsense that would see me come out of my self-imposed exile. Unfortunately not got a rota for then yet so can't say.

Re: BUBBA BOWL VII - Leap! - 29th Feb 2020
I'm interested. Nice to see a local tournament (If 30+ miles away is local???)
Just out of interest, since you've said you're not too fussed about the painting, what about the models themselves? I only have a Skaven, a Dwarf, a and a Human team, but I'm sure I have plenty of D&D figures that I could modify to make a Goblin team...

TOs call at each event, but if you were playing me and I was able to tell what's what without having to question every turn I'd be ok with converted minis.

As Lunchmoney says, most people won't be fussed if you've a sensibly converted team which can be clearly distinguished as what they are supposed to be. I'd tend to draw the line at unmodified 'proxies', it just makes things unnecessarily confusing for your opponent.Onyersix wrote:I'm interested. I can loan you Goblins (or anything else you might want to try) for the day.
