I'm glad you asked, Mark. I'm glad you asked.

Hi there folks, my name is Monkeyjuice and I'm here to tell you about an exciting new development in Blood Bowl around the part of the UK that everyone likes to forget about: The Midlands. Well, here in the Midlands we love our Blood Bowl something rotten, and we just can't seem to get enough of that sweet double skull goodness. In the West, we thought "Hey, let's do a thing!" and we did...we did do a thing. Then the East said "Hey, can we do the thing too?" and we said "No!", but then we said "Okay!" and The Midlands Championship Tournament Series was founded.

"So what?" I hear you cry - well that means that we have two - yes two - new tournaments added to our already brimming and gorgeous calendar. What are these two behemoths of the tournament world? Only Stranglebowl and the Derby Tag Team Tournament!!!!111!!1!!

Attend two of our prestigious tournaments that are participating in the Midlands Championship Series and you'll be in for a chance to win the title of Champion of the Midlands! Say whaaaaaaat?!

New results have been added to the table...

The results for the WWG Chaos Cup have been added to the table. We now have 10 coaches who have qualified for this year's series, a few of which have three games to their name and so have some hefty points totals. You can find the table attached to the bottom of the main page.

Okely dokely folks,

The table has now been updated to include the results from this year's WWG Spike! Trophy tournament.

Some of the more eagle-eyed among you may notice that some of the results appear grayed out. This has been done deliberately to show which results are NOT included in that coach's total points for the series, as only the top three results are combined to give the coach's overall score.

The full table is on the first page of the thread, but here is a pic of the current qualifying coaches for you to sink your teeth into:

The top 2 clash in the first round of the Manticore Mug this Saturday!

Seems weird, to me, to see "real" names. So used to using people's chosen name, even in person.

Saturday's first round clash between Maverick and Gorgoroth at the Manticore Mug wasn't exactly a classic, being a nil nil draw.

But as Gorgoroth finished second in the tourney (26 players, 4 rounds) I believe he will score 100 points. This will replace the lowest of his best 3 scores to date (the 27 pointer) taking him to around 250 points overall and into the series lead.

At least that is how it looks from a quick calc in my head, official update to follow!

Mythical Mayhem Indeed! The Manticore Mug Results Are In!

The results are in and there is a new contender thrown into the mix by the name of Landrover. The full table, as always, is on the front page, while the current qualifiers and their respective positions can be seen here:
