Hi Pug,
I was over there last night and they're still looking for players. They currently have 11 and really need another to even it out - I'll ask em and let you know.

It's a shame it's as few as that.
With any luck, some good reports and a better weekend next year and you'll get lots more.

Pug, I've checked with Maelstrom and they say you will be able to pay on the day, provided you let them know for definite beforehand if you will be taking part. You can either log onto their forum (http://events.maelstromgames.co.uk/punb ... 2055#p2055) to let them know (you'll have to sign up to the forum, obviously), or I can let them know for you.

Entirely up to you that one
Can't remember in the rulespack if they are providing the pitches or not
Send us a PM with your (real) name, and I'll get you signed up

Yeah, I'd have been interested, but there's no chance of making it "oop north" (from my perspective) two weekends on the trot.
Could have brought some Warmachine stuff while I was there (damn you Martin!

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Re: The Maelstrom Cup - Mansfield Notts - 8 & 9 May 2010
Just got back.
This was a good event run by very friendly chaps in an absolutely smashing venue. I would happily recommmend it for anyone thinking about going next time. Thanks to Gary and the chaps for running everything so well.
Results were:
1st - Jimjimany
2nd - Joemanji
3rd - Geggster
Most Sporting - Pug
Best Painted - oops I forgot his name (didn't play him myself)
Cheers
Joe
