Dwarfcoach pasted my Khemri with his Lizzies for the final match on Sunday (Table 3). The triple skull block with a mummy vs. a skink isn't going to be forgotten soon. If I do, then am sure he will remind me :) The block on the following turn where we both rolled double ones for armour on a both down block was just icing on the cake to end that match.

I hope that all of my opponents like their Khemri tokens. Like Del's skaven, will probably move onto another team when painting is finished.

Am glad that Geggster got the pitch. Not sure if he will haul it off to an ECBBL night, but should be good for a few games around his place.
Will try to throw a few pictures up on a website in the next day or so.

Think one of my lingering memories of the weekend will be wandering around the Green Man on Friday night looking for folks and thinking to myself 'That cannot be them, too many women in their group'

Fun tourney. Good to put a few more faces to names. Am thinking about what to do to replace the great pitch giveaway at my next tournament. A couple of ideas floating about, but need to try them out.

Yeah great fun.

First outting with Khermi and I win 4, lose 2. What was wierder was that three of those wins were in the pouring rain 8)

I'll get a "Zombies" expansion set for next times evenings entertainment until the wee hours.

..and at least I think I got away from any embarrassing photos this time :-?

Fantastic weekend all round...and remember if you want to get a room at the Generator just say your name is "Simon Merton"

Hehe, yes that was 'one of those matches', wasn't it? We've all had them, when it goes well for your own dice you are quite happy but when your opponent can't seem to break your armour even with four St5 Mummys with Mighty Blow you kinda start to think things are going funny...

Enjoyable game mate, I hope we can play again when Nuffle is behaving in a more salutary manor  .

:EDIT: Oh yeah, I definately will remind you of that block (Skink vrs Mummy) because the look on your face was such a classic 'dis-belief/shock/dispair'... :P  )

So who did win?

Reason: ''
Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Dangerous Dave's brother (Chaos Dwarves) won the tourney, with a 2-1 win over Madzit's skaven on table two (and boy, did they take their time!).

grotuk wrote:It was my first tourney and i have a really good time with everybody. My record was 2-2-2, but with a little more lucky it could be a 3-3-0 or something cuz Hoomin's and Nashrak's (indi's brother) matches were awfully unlucky...but that's BB

And DC.. we have a match to play
Well done for your first tourney mate!!! :) 16th is very cool!!!!

You did really well for your first UK event (I'm not sure about 'local events' you may have been to), especially putting up with all the English lads getting pissed up before 11pm before they close the pubs...

I really regret we didn't get to play, we were on the same points level at about game 4 I think, it was so close. Oh well, next time as I'm seriously considering coming over to Spain for a tourney and then I'd really like to play/beat you :P :P  .

I'm really not sure mate. :-? I was going to use my brand new Skaven team, but the cold blooded ones did quite well in London and at Spikey I could have the same line up plus an extra 2 skinks!! :o

My only loss at Carnage 2 was due to the fact than when a Gutter Runner broke and ran for the end zone I only had one Skink left and couldn't catch him. With the option of another couple in the team then I really am very confident....

We shall see if the NAF ratings are entered in time and what happens to my overall position I think, if I only move a tiny bit then they may just be making an appearance in Reading :D .

I'm going to try to get the results entered today - I just need to get the one guy who joined the NAF entered in so I can upload the results.
