Thank Lucifer, but i'm not sure that can help us.lucifer wrote:Hi haktar,
It will be great to see a Portugese team at Eurobowl, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but Eurobowl (more or less) follows FIFA rules on which country you can play for. So if someone lives in Portugal for a long time (and hasn't played for another country) then they can play for Portugal as a Portugeezer!!I know it has happened many times before, including Norse (played for Holland, but born elsewhere God only knows where though!!! hehehehe).
Don't know if that helps?

Easyjet are booking now from London, but only flying back on the Sunday.Pippy wrote:This sounds like a very good idea.
Team England have not yet booked flights either. One of the reasons is that last time we checked Easyjet, it wasn't possible to book this far in advance.
I'll discuss it with the team, check flights again and get back asap.

We booked with some provider called Vueling. According to feedback there is just one setback: legspace ...
Apart from that very punctual, very friendly and (most important) quite cheap. I booked a return flight for 135 euro from Brussels to Barcelona. All other providers came close to or went over 200 euro ...
Cheers!

Yeah Easyjet only booking from Newcastle til 2nd November at present. We plan to fly on the 3rd.Quermitt wrote:That seems to be a fantastic idea!!!kewan wrote:If you want we can rent a bus, it will depart from the airport at 7 pm and at 11 pm (per example) and it will depart from the tournament to the airport, one on sunday night, an another one on Monday morning (or 2 travels on monday morning)
For doing this I need to know all the interested teams, people per team, his flight arrivals and departs, and then I can tell you, how much is the money that everyone is going to pay for this service.
Are you agree?
We (team Belgium) will probably take a flight that arrives on Friday at 19h45. So we will have seven or eight people that need transportation at that time.
Just to give you an idea, a car rental would cost about 300 euro for three days and then you get a van that can hold seven to nine people. Just to give you and all other attendants an idea of the cost involved in renting a car ...
Cheers!
Still, it's a good idea if we can wait until teams can organise flights.

we can do it when we want, it's not necessary do it right now. I think the best date for doing it, is 1 month before starting the tournament
I think the best idea is
1 person of the team, the captain if is possible, send me a PM with day & time of the arrival and the day & time of depart flight. And how many people is going to travel (per example, 8 team members and 2 cheerleaders)

Renting two small 4/5 seat cars will set you back about half that amount.Quermitt wrote:Just to give you an idea, a car rental would cost about 300 euro for three days and then you get a van that can hold seven to nine people. You are completly wrong, rent a car in Spain is quite cheaper.Quermitt wrote: Just to give you an idea, a car rental would cost about 300 euro for three days and then you get a van that can hold seven to nine people. Have a look to this page

Rent a car in BARCELONA airport on Friday afternoon/night and give it back on Monday morning, total price from 140€ to 160€. If you want to rent a 9 people car, 300€

Ok, i think we're sorted. Most of Team Scotland will be flying from Glasgow to Girona. Land at 17:35, and then catch the direct bus to Barca. So we should be in Barca about 19:00. That's the only flight we have.

The last 2 may swap depending on whether ith can get that weekend off.
Most of us will be flying in to Girona at 17:35, and then catching the bus down to Barca. What's happening with this bus idea to the venue?
