It was hard at times but immensely enjoyable. Despite the long hours and the melted ice cream I had a blast.

You looked so damned miserable trying to eat that ice cream.
Like, you really wanted to eat your ice cream and enjoy it, you did afterall look so pleased with your little self when you came bounding in mid afternoon with a tub of Ben & Jerry's, but the fact that is had melted into a warm gloop full of rapidly multiplying e coli bacteria meant you weren't enjoying it, but you were far to tired and emotional to put the tub down, acknowledge how unpleasant it tasted, or recognise how likely it was to kill you.

The sight of a full grown Sizzler crying his way through a tub of melted ice cream in the early hours of a Sunday morning whilst trying to deal with Dave's sleep deprived nonsense is not something I'll forget soon.
