I'm sure that Wood Elves are not one that we will have a problem get someone to play :D

After writing that I did notice that you mentioned Dark Elves. Are you saying what your taking to the Eurobowl yet.
Sann0638 wrote:Righty ho! Sorry for not understanding!
No probs Mike, my bad. The posts make it look a lot more formal than it is :D It's one of those things that if someone doesn't push I'm sure we wouldn't get all 24 but with a bit of time and everyone getting the chance to think about it maybe we can make it happen.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

It's annoying as hell though. I run tournaments for 4-5 different systems each year and it's only ever Bloodbowl that is the problem

Most Bloodbowlers are special or possibly Special.

Such concepts as time, money, calendars ... reality, are beneath us

Maybe it's because BB'ers do more tournies so have to space out paying for tickets?

Small point though, we all (TO's) go through it. 10 from 19 coaches left it to pay on the day for Speedbowl. A similar proportion did the same as previous Exiles events. Account for it and work around it.
Will the venue let you pay the bill for room hire/catering on the day? If you are a repeat customer they just might.
Use funds from other, previous, events to pay for trophies if the supplier wont give you credit. Make your own trophies to save cost.
Make sure people understand that without funds from ticket sales there is no prize fund, so no/little in the way of prizes/givewaways.
After you've collected all the late payments that cant be used on trophies/prizes keep those funds for next year, that way you will have a surplus to get you going.
Have you considered setting up a second bank account for the express purpose of event funds? Any surpluses can then acrue interest.

1. I will be bringing Flings :D
2. I am one of those annoying late payers this year due to circumstance but I have contacted TO's and work on the assumption that having supported may tourneys over the last 3 years I may get away with it as I am me? :D
3. As frustrating as it is for the TO's I now understand the funds/work/real life thing am I am sure you would prefer the numbers attending.... As the only way to stop the issue is to cut off ticket sales a few weeks before the event :(

I think he's just kidding about the max limit on 3 of the same skill across your team that was mentioned a few weeks back

Nope, no joke. As for the last few years, as with a few of the tournaments, there is a limit on the additional skills chosen, in this case it's 3 some other limit it to 2 e.g. you could take 3 guards but not 4.

Hey Guys, I'd like express my interest for this years Gurtiest of bowls! I have not been before but was a visitor at the NAFC in Notts this year and thought its about time I gave it a go!!
To keep with the theme of trying to get all 24 races I would like to bagsie the mightily flawed CHAOS PACT! I don't think anyone else has picked them yet so will given em a punt (and another lick of paint!).
I have still got to do some hotel finding, and wife persuading, but will try and confirm this weekend.
